Do I need a CMA License for the trail ride? No.
How tough will the trail ride be? The trail will have a difficulty rating of two/three (on scale of five).
Can novice riders take part? Novices certainly may enter the trail ride. In fact watching the enduro riders on the second day of the Corduroy Enduro will give novices something to aspire to.
Can I do the ride and not take part in the other events? Absolutely.
Can I ride on Sunday as well? There is no scheduled trail-riding on Sunday. There is a Rally Connex Adventure Ride on Sunday which will take participants to the various spectator points.Riders may ride to the spectator points if they chose. Will the trail ride course be on GPS? Yes, the route will be downloadable to Garman GPS units. There will also be some arrows used when precise guidance is needed. "Don't have a GPS yet", no worry, you may team up with others who do have one.
What time does the event start? Sign-in: 8:00 to 9:30. Riders meeting 9:30. Ride starts after riders meeting and after the enduro riders have left the Community Centre.
Is lunch provided on route? No.
Is there anywhere to buy food or water on route? The route will visit a village with full services.
Can I ride my Gold Wing on the GPS route? Unless your name is Blair Sharpless, No!
Will there be old guys at this event? We certainly hope so.
Can I ride the trail ride with green plates? No.
Will the ride be held if it rains? Yep!Rain actually makes the rock less abrasive.
What's in this for us older guys who don't ride any more?
