We first 'discovered' the Hatfield and McCoy Trail system while attending the annual NOHVCC conference in Charleston West Virginia in 2007.
As you drive south from Charleston towards one of the 6 trail networks, you see billboards that welcome OHV travelers and even offer discounts to "Hatfield McCoy Riders", what a wonderful feeling!!!
We have been back a few times for our spring vacation as warm up ride for the Beagle Bash. It is a great way to capitalize on the long trip south and the great variety of excellent and well managed trails allows us to start on the beginner stuff and ease our way onto the more challenging ones. It is also a great place to take a beginner or kids since you know what to expect from the high quality maps and great signage.
The OFTR trailer will be at the Twin Hollow Campgrounds on the Rockhouse trails this year and we hope you can stop by for a visit. It is about 8 hours south of the GTA.
If you are itching to ride this spring why not book a vacation in West Virginia and drop by for some OFTR ice cream from April 23rd to the 29th, we never run out of that!
